Hello everyone! 🎉
I’m excited to announce the new minor update, Alpha 1.2.1, which brings balancing and other improvements to the game.
Here’s a rundown of what you can expect:
-Save file information: 💾🔍 You can now track your progress using the new progress display which includes unlocked areas, tools and total blocks mined.
-UI Fixes: 🔧🖥️ Some smaller quirks and inconsistencies have been fixed. The developer notification now also no longer pops up when it is empty.
-Tool fixes: 🪓✔️ When the player equipped an axe, it was flipped in-game. This was not supposed to happen and is now fixed.
-Block reworks: 🧱🔁 Block randomization has been completely reworked to make chances more accurate. The breaking animation is also no longer tiled, making it fit closer to the art style of the game.
-Value renaming: 📝🔍 Internal values such as tool types, area names and sub area names have been re-named for a better developing and more bug-free experience.
-Block health balancing: ♥️⚒️ Blocks in the Desert and Arctic have had their health doubled, and blocks in the Cave tripled. This has balanced the late game.
This should be the last Alpha update, unless any critical bugs appear, and development on Beta 1.0 will start soon. You can expect the first Feature Preview by the end of this week.
